Our Foundation Does

Below you can see our foundation does pedigrees and get an idea of the genetics backgrounds they hold.  To see each individual pedigree, just click on the button with their name to view.  Many of our does are triple registered with ADGA, AGS and the Nigerian Dwarf Goat Association.  In 2020, we began our herd on ADGA's DHI Milk Program which measures not only the amount of milk a doe produces but the protein and butter fat in their milk.  In doing so, we have the opportunity to evaluate and improve our herd based on the does milk production.  Below you can see some and look at the pedigrees of our foundation does.

Bramblestone Quianna Quinn

We were ecstatic to acquire Quianna Quinn from Lesa at beautiful Bramblestone Farm.  Quianna has a spectacular pedigree (Posted above).  Quianna carries a lot of the same features that look like her grand dam 2*M GCH Buttin’Heads Paperclip (Photo below).

When we purchased Quianna, Lesa of Bramblestone Farm was really looking forward to is seeing how Quianna Quinn’s udder looked like after kidding. We are as well.

Quianna's dam, 3*M Buttin' Heads Calligraphy *D, like her dam, has a very high and well-attached udder and was Grand Champion Senior doe the only time that Lesa from Bramblestone Farm had showed her!

Her grand dam (2*M GCH Buttin’Heads Paperclip) is the 2012 ADGA National Grand Champion.  Paperclip is a spectacular looking doe as you can see in her photograph.

Rosie, our beautiful Buckskin doe with white overlay, moon spot, and flashy blue-eyes, brings a diverse group of milking line genetics from Double Durango Artemisia 1*M, Buttin Heads Martinique +B 90 EEE, Dawnland's Tabby's Orla 78 A+AA & Dawnland's TCP Butterfly Song 90 EVEV.

Rosie was bred in late 2019 to *B Bramblestone CQ Spiced Tea.  Rosie gave us 2 gorgeous doelings and a very handsome, flashy buck.

In this photograph, Rosie is about to give birth to triplets!

Swallow Hill HQ Kahlua

Our pretty little lady Kahlua is a            cream buckskin with white pole.

Kahlua's grandfather is Old Mountain Farm (OMF) Taryn Quinn (90EEVE), and her Great Grand Dam is OMF Tianna Quinn 4*M.  Other impressive additions are OMF Cernunnos +*B 89 VEV  on her Sire's side and on the Dam's side, OMF Oliver Again *B, OMF Parti Favah 90 VEE, and Buttin Heads Zipper Pea 1*M GCH VVEE.

In the late fall of 2019, we bred Kahlua to our newest *B buck, Bramblestone Midnight Mouse.  Kahlua delivered 2 does and 2 bucklings that were beautiful.

Bramblestone Farm SL Rose Tea

Rose Tea is just turning a year old and we think she's developing very nicely.  We can't wait until we see how she continues to grow and the kids we have from her.

Rose Teas's Sire, Old Mountain Farm Staglee, and Dam, Bramblestone Peach CQ Tea combined with grand Sires, ++* B Old Mountain Farm Stag and *B CH Bramblestone Celtic Quinn and Grand Dams Bramblestone Sun Tea 4*M 87 +EEE and Old Mountain Farm Sislee, add both milk and show genetics that we are excited to add to our herd.

We will be breeding Rose Tea this fall although we still have not chosen with which buck.  We are excited about the possibilities Rose Tea's genetics brings to our herd.

Faith is our first Mitten Acre doe born born on our farm.  We bred Faith with Gus, from Rosie's and Dusty's breeding last year which resulted in two beautiful bucklings - one polled and the other has blue eyes.

Check out Faith's pedigree - her genetics are a combination of strong milkers and champions that include SG Old Mountain Farm Taryn Quinn (90 EEVE) SG Old Mountain Farm Hot Tea (90 EEEV) CH *B Old Mountain Farm Quentin Quinn, 3*M Buttin' Heads Calligraphy (82 +EEA) CH *B Bramblestone Celtic Quinn, 4*M Bramblestone Sun Tea (87 +EEE)  and her sire, *B Bramblestone Spiced Tea

Holly in full winter coat - Winter 2020.

Holly is a very sweet doe with a calm, steady personality. We did not breed Holly in 2020 due in part to her small stature - we wanted to wait and give her time to grow.

We are looking forward to breeding Holly in 2021!  Holly has developed into a very nice looking doe which is hidden in the above photo with all of that winter coat!
